Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith finally speaks up on the latest controversy involving her and teen star Daniel Padilla.
The so-called “audio controversy” which surfaced over the weekend has generated confusion and suspicions among the fans of the teen heartthrob and even the netizens online.
Daniel Padilla and Jasmine Curtis who works together in biopic “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” one of the entries of this year’s Metro Manila Festival (MMFF) earlier admitted having a thorough conversation.
Jasmine Curtis noted in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Gretchen Fullido that they discussed a very important matter recently. She revealed that her talks about the young actor revolve about her father who have undergone an operation.
According to her, her father James Ernest Smith went to hospital last week to undergo a surgical operation.
However, their conversation was altered with a voice tagged to be Daniel Padilla who allegedly expressed his excitement about receiving a text message from Jasmine Curtis with a rant against her boyfriend Sam Concepcion.
“Wala na si Patrick. Wala nang mangugulo sa ‘kin. Wala na ‘yung tropa ni Sam,” a part of his alleged statement noted.
Meanwhile, It’s Showtime co-host Anne Curtis came to her rescue to defend her sister against online bashes. Some netizens divulge some cryptic statement against the Kapatid star.
Karla Estrada, the mother of Daniel Padilla also came out to defend her son. She claimed that someone may behind this alleged audio controversy as she claims that the voice which can be heard in the video is far enough of Daniel Padilla.
