City of Manila Barangay Election 2013 Results List of Winners

The capital of the Philippines, the City of Manila, is one of the sixteen cities comprising the National Capital Region or Metro Manila. It is the second largest city in the Philippines which has a population of 1.6 million based upon the 2010 census. It is also the second most populous city in the country only behind Quezon City.

The City of Manila is also considered as the most densely populated city in the world, the 1.6 million inhabits an area of 38.55 square kilometers (14.88 sq mi). Manila is listed internationally as a Global City, it is divided into six legislative districts and consists of 16 areas namely: Binondo, Ermita, Intramuros, Malate, Paco, Pandacan, Port Area,Quiapo, Sampaloc, San Andres, San Miguel, San Nicolas, Santa Ana, Santa Cruz, Santa Mesa and Tondo.

The Barangay Elections 2013 in the City of Manila is generally peaceful accoding to the COMELEC, PNP and the official citizen’s arm of the Commission on Elections.
