Villar’s net worth have already increased from P854 million in 2011, during that time he was also declared as the wealthiest senator. According to the SALN report, Villar has over P1 billion in investments in shares of stocks and he listed with no liabilities.
The poorest senator is Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero who has a net worth of P4.02 million. The senator-elect explained earlier that his wealth decreased because he transferred the ownership of his properties to his two children after his marriage was annulled.
