Jamelle Cornley, a former import of the Philippine Basketball (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation (PBA) was arrested on Wednesday morning for allegedly punching a policeman in Quezon City.
The Elasto Painters import was brought to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10 in Kamuning, Quezon City. He was allegedly punching PO2 Armando Lazatin inside Sir William’s Hotel.
Based upon the report made by QCPD Station 10 chief superintendent Marcelino Pedrozo Jr., Cornley called the police after some female acquaintances of the American stole his cash amounting to about P60,000.
The QC Policeman which was allegedly punched by Cornley was rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center after being knocked down by the 6-foot-5 cager formerly playing for PBA’s Rain or Shine during the 2012 Governor’s Cup.
