China Stealth Fighter Shenyang First Flight (Video)

China has made some advancement not only on their Naval defense but also with their Air Force as their second stealth fighter called as “Falcon Eagle,” also designated as J-31, made its first appearance and maiden flight over the Shenyang Aircraft Company airfield.

According to some eyewitness, the Chinese State Media reported that the new stealth jet flew for more than 10 minutes in the morning of Wednesday, October 31, in the northeast province of Liaoning.

Some Chinese bloggers have even posted some photos and videos of the latest sightings of the Chinese stealth fighter. Some reports stated that the J-31 appears to be smaller than the J-20 fighter plane which was unveiled during the early months of 2011.

In an interview with the international press, AFP, military expert Andrei Chang was quoted as saying that “The J-31 appears to be more mobile than the J-20, with its landing gear suggesting it is designed to be launched from an aircraft carrier,” Chang stated.

Meanwhile according to security expert Sam Roggeveen of the Lowy Institute in Sydney during an interview with Reuters, he stated that China was way ahead in terms of military power compared to it’s Asian neighbors.
