Last October 14, 2012, the National Police Commission announced that a total of 32,530 took the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance and Promotional Examinations in different designated testing center nationwide.

The total of 32, 530 PNP entrance takers, there are 14, 988 took the PNP entrance examinations while there are 17, 542 examinees who were distritubed to the various promotional test categories.
The PNP Entrance Exam covered for the qualifying examinations for Police Offier 1 and the other exams were promotional examinations for Police Officers 2 and 3; Senior Police Officer (for SPO1 to SPO4).
Promotional examinations were also held for Police Inspector (for Inspector and Senior Inspector); and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).
The PNP Entrance Examinations covered with general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning while the promotional examinations consisted of questions on general information, police administration and operations and values values and ethical standards.
The results of the October 2012 PNP will be posted here once released by NAPOLCOM:
