Facebook had announced on Wednesday (US Time) that the much-awaited video chatting features on Facebook was now available on its site. The internet-phone company Skype had powered the video-chatting feature on Facebook.

Together with the video chat, the company had also launched group chatting features. The company unveiled these latest features as counter-attacked moved against the latest attempt of it’s rival google to get a chunked of the social networking market dominated by Facebook.

With the announcement of video chatting and group chatting features on Facebook that will compete against the newly developed Google Plus.

The two features will compete against Google Plus. Google Plus had a service called Hangouts a video chatting features and Huddle a group chatting features or conference chatting.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had also announced on Wednesday that Facebook had reached another milestone, the famous social networking site have now reached 750 million members and counting.

In order to use the new video chat features of Facebook powered by Skype you have to download first and intalled the softwares that powered the feature. After installation a single click brings a video chat window with your conversation partner.

With the integration of the Skype video chatting feature on Facebook there is no need to launch a separate program. It works hand-in-hand with Facebook’s already popular chatting feature.
