Female Driver Uses Cellphone While Driving, Seems She Doesn’t Care
Female Driver Uses Cellphone – A female driver was captured in a video after allegedly using cellphone while driving on a busy road in the Philippines.
According to the description of the video that was posted on Facebook by a user named Bryan T. Pelayo, he and a companion were near-hit by an SUV that’s turning and going to the main road in G. Araneta in a suburb in Masambong.
Pelayo explained the reason why the SUV would have hit them on the road – according to him, the driver of the SUV was actually using a cellphone while driving. Even though Pelayo and his companion were honking loud enough to be heard by the driver of the SUV, it seemed that it wasn’t enough. Furthermore, he explained that the driver uses only one hand while turning to the main road occupying one lane.
What’s shocking is that the said driver of the SUV was a woman!
In the video, it seems that the woman doesn’t mind while being confronted and videoed the motorist whom she near-hits. It can also be seen in the video that the woman is still using her phone before going out of the SUV.
The woman can be heard saying, “So what?!” in Filipino.
The woman then approached the motorist and took a video as well. She mentioned that the man’s motorcycle doesn’t have a plate number but, the man explained that is because the Land Transportation Office still hasn’t issued the plate. The man said that it is for registration.

If proven, the woman driving the SUV will be subject to the Senate Bill 3211 or the Anti-Distracted Driving Act which prohibits the use of cellphones while driving. For the first offense, one will be fined P5,000, P10,000 for the second, and P15,000 plus a three-month suspension of the driver’s license.
What can you say about the woman’s actions?
Keep safe.
