Jeepney Driver Playing Mobile Legend While Driving Elicits Reactions Online
Video footage of a jeepney driver playing mobile legends while driving went viral on social media and elicited reactions from netizens.
Nowadays, Mobile Legends has been one of the most popular online games not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all over the world. Most people including children, teenagers, and even adults were already hooked and addicted to the popular online game.
We can’t deny that this game is truly entertaining and can really consume your whole free time but players should always identify their priorities. Otherwise, you can’t do your job because of playing too much.
Recently, video footage uploaded on Facebook by a concerned netizen named Maymay Quimpo where a jeepney driver can be seen enjoying playing the mobile game. Probably, there are passengers inside the jeepney that are not aware that their driver is not focusing on his driving.
In the video, it can be seen that the flow of cars is a little bit slow, so the driver can manage to focus in-game while driving. However, it is still prohibited and against the traffic law of the Philippines.
According to Senate Bill 3211 or the Anti Distracted Driving Act, it prohibits the use of cellphones or smartphones while driving. For the first offense, one will be fined P5,000, P10,000 for the second, and P15,000 plus a three-month suspension of the driver’s license.
The video has gone viral on social media as netizens express their elicited reactions towards inappropriate behavior while driving. He can probably hit someone or hit the vehicle in front of him.
