To whom it may concern:

I was excited and interested about the Php 20,000.00 scholarship that your organization will give to one lucky college student. It has been my aim to go to Riverbank Medical School and pursue a nursing degree. Even before, I knew then that my passion is to help and treat people with diseases.

My mother passed away last year and before she died, she was a nurse. I have seen how compassionate she is towards her patients and I have been inspired by her to take the course. Aside from fulfilling my dream, this will also serve as a tribute to my mother who spent most of her life helping people.

I finished my secondary level at Rey Jison Integrated School as our batch’s valedictorian. I am also the school’s Science Club president for three consecutive. I joined several quiz bees and competitions and won a couple of times.

I believe I am a suitable candidate for the organization’s scholarship because I am hard-working, determined, and passionate. I will never let go of this chance if ever this privilege will be given to me.

Thank you for considering my application. I have enclosed a recommendation letter from my school’s counselor along with the application form and my transcripts. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
