Demand Letter Sample For Personal Injury

Here’s a Demand Letter Sample you may use as a guide for your personal injury letter.

DEMAND LETTER SAMPLE – Some Dos and Don’ts to put together a demand letter for particular reasons such as your personal injury demand letter.

A demand letter is a form of formal communication in form of a letter to reach out to the other party about your concerns and among other specific reasons you have. Now, in order to put together your concerns in a letter along with your demands, a sample letter of this as a guide is provided below. It must include your legal issues, the damages done, and your negotiation for a fair settlement.

Here are some things you must note and include in a demand letter:

  • It must contain your specific intention as this will serve as a reminder to another party the task or payment he or she needs to do.
  • It should have the purpose of the letter, a description of the damages, and the demand for restitution.
  • In terms of length, the shorter it is, the better as being straightforward regarding the demand shows seriousness to a legal dispute.

Dear Kyle Pabe:

I am writing you this letter regarding the accident involving your insured policyholder, Terrence Cruz. He failed to stop his car when the traffic light along McKinley Road turned red which resulted in a crash and leaving my car to suffer a fair amount of damage at the back. This happened last April 20, 2012.

The damages led me to personal expenses in the form of repair costs for my vehicle and missed wages. Also, as a result of this incident, I suffered neck and back sprain and strain, headaches, and a right shoulder sprain. I have medical records that document all of my conditions attached to this.

My car is only 2 years old and the repair costs amounted Php 15,000.00 where the receipt is also attached in this document. My medical bills total Php 8,000.00. I am a manager of Jabee Maao Branch and missed one week of work which is worth Php 5,000.00 as rest is advised by my doctor.

I am supposed to rest longer but I could not afford to miss any more work. I lost Php 5,000.00 in my earnings due to this accident. Taking into account your insured’s absolute liability and my damages in this case, I demand Php 28,000.00 to settle this case.

I am looking forward to your positive response not later than May 27, 2020, and failure to do this will leave me with no other choice but to seek legal action.

You can contact me at 0918-876-4567 for more questions.

Sincerely,
