Japanese media dubbed the said megaphone to be Japan’s “secret weap0n”, which now actually isn’t.

Many people all over the world have named the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to be the “Olympics of the Future”, as Japan was seen and known to the world for its technological advancements.

Japan Creates Translating Megaphone

In an article written by India Today, the Japanese company Panasonic developed the device for the anticipated increase in the number of foreign tourists that would be coming in the country during the Olympic Games.

Also, the megaphone can also be used in disaster drills and other activities. The device is also being tested in airports and areas with busy public transport systems.

In preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Japan already set aside 400 billion Japanese yen to renovate major stadium in order for them to occupy more than 80,000 people.

According to the article, Tokyo will not only use human force and money but robots as well. Robots will be helping in showing directions, in the transport, and translation.
