Is it true that former first lady Imelda Marcos is dead? Her daughter denies the rumors.
IMELDA MARCOS – Senator Imee Marcos denies the allegations circling around social media which spread the death of her mother Imelda Marcos.
Former first lady Imelda Marcos is the widow of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and mother of current president Ferdinand Marcos Jr. In a previous article, viral card reader Gloria Escoto had a vision of her death in 2023.
And recently circulating online is her death.
Will the vision get real?
Seems like not.
In a social media post, amid the curious comments regarding the rumors, Imelda’s niece, Eliza Romualdez-Valtos expressed that the former first lady is still “alive and kicking”. In a Facebook post, Romualdez-Valtos said “Still strong and kicking.”
The hashtags she used were calling out the fake news circulating on various social media platforms.
Senator Imee Marcos, Imelda’s daughter, also denied this.
She told the reporters in a text message that this kind of rumor has actually been circulating online since last week. But there is no truth to it. The former first lady is still alive.
“Last week pa ‘yan (rumors), ang bad ng nagkakalat,” she said.
Meanwhile, years ago, the widow of the late dictator has been found guilty of seven counts of graft by the Sandiganbayan’s Fifth Division.
She violated the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act when she transferred some $200 million to seven Swiss foundations when she was still a member of the defunct Batasang Pambansa and during the times she was a Metro Manila governor and Minister of Human Settlements.
