Coco Martin Says Batang Quiapo is Well-Coordinated with Manila LGU
Actor-director Coco Martin said that his new action series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” is well-coordinated with the local government of Manila.
In contrast to Rendon Labador’s criticisms, Coco Martin stated that they made certain that no one would be harmed by the creation of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Rendon recalls calling out Coco after vendors complained about losing sales due to the taping.
Coco told MJ Marfori that they work closely with the local government unit of Manila City and other government organizations to ensure that no one is harmed by their output. Coco observed that everything is well-organized and that they have appropriately informed them.
It should be noted that some vendors have apparently complained about a drop in sales as a result of the taping in Quiapo. However, one of the show’s cast members, Bassilyo, stated that the issue of the vendors has already been addressed.
“Lahat ng natatamaang vendors diyan, binabayaran ng production. Binabayaran ‘yung paninda nila, maubos man o hindi.” the rapper said. Mas gusto pa nga nila ‘yun kasi kota na sila, hindi na sila kakaba-kaba kung mauubos ‘yung paninda nila sa araw na ‘yon,” he said.
Nonetheless, he is pleased with the positive response to his new series from viewers. According to their analysis, their new series performs better than “Ang Probinsyano.”
“Sobra kaming nagpapasalamat.
