Karen Davila Makes Revelation on TV Patrol Anchors’ Viral Video
KAREN DAVILA – The veteran newscaster revealed the real reason behind the viral video of TV Patrol anchors.
One of the most popular news programs in the history of Philippine broadcasting was the TV Patrol, the news program of the ABS-CBN network for more than two (2) decades until the network failed to renew its franchise.
The lawmakers denied the appeal of the network for its franchise renewal. It was followed by massive lay-off of employees and the artists were given their freedom to transfer to other networks. Some moved to other networks while there are also who stayed.
Despite the non renewal of their franchise, ABS-CBN continues to work on some programs and shows which are aired in other platforms. Some of its news anchors are venturing the field of vlogging now like TV Patrol news anchors Karen Davila and Bernadette Sembrano. They are also active on social media.
Recently, on her Instagram account, Karen Davila reposted a viral video of her together with her fellow Kapamilya anchors, Bernadette Sembrano, Henry Omaga-Diaz, and former vice president Kabayan Noli de Castro. It was a video of them laughing while they were delivering their last lines for the closing of the TV Patrol.
Along with the Instagram video posted by Karen is the revelation on the real reason why they were all struggling to contain their laugh. According to the TV Patrol anchor, Kabayan Noli de Castro was making them laugh before they had their extro and he wants to banter.
“Napagsabihan kami that day, no banter na – ayun ayaw, nagpatawa pa,” Karen wrote.
