From a backup dancer to a legit “artista”, Toni Fowler becomes emotional in the noontime show.
TONI FOWLER – Social media influencer Toni Fowler was emotional in Showtime recalling her humble beginning in the industry.
It is never a secret that Toni Fowler started as one of the dancers of “Its Showtime“. After her work in the noontime show, she started doing videos and content on social media, and this paved way for her fame. She reached celebrity-like fame by garnering millions of followers on various social media platforms.
She is loved by many for her dancing videos and in her career, she wasn’t also able to dodge certain issues and intrigues.
And from being a dancer to a vlogger, she reached another milestone in her career – she became a legit actress through her inclusion in “Batang Quiapo”. In this series, she is working alongside Coco Martin and Lovi Poe.
Her role is the best of Lovi’s character and she will accordingly be a bad influence in her life. She is thankful for the opportunity that was given to her and she believes that anyone can build their own channel but not everyone can have the chance to be seen on television.
And just recently, as she recalled her humble beginnings before her fame, she became emotional. She broke into tears when she visited Showtime along with the other cast of Batang Quiapo to promote the upcoming series.
In her appearance, she shared that she actually worked in the noontime show for three years and recalling it all gave her overwhelming emotions.
“Kasi po siyempre for almost three years po kasi nagtrabaho ako rito as backup dancer ta’s ngayon nakabalik po ako as artista,” she said.
Vice Ganda has this teasing response, “Malay mo sa susunod, ikaw na direktor into,” but seriously added that they are so proud of how far she has become.
“We’re happy to see you again and we’re very proud of you. Ang yaman-yaman mo na at ang laki ng bahay mo,” says Vice.
