The grandchild of Flora Gasser confirms her death.
FLORA GASSER – Veteran actress Flora Gasser passed away at the age of 89 and this sad news is confirmed by her family.
Valerie Ocampo, the granddaughter of Flora Gasser, confirmed the death of the veteran television and movie actress. She passed away at the age of 89 but the cause of her death was not disclosed by her family.
“Our Lola (grandmother), Flora Gasser, passed away yesterday and is now with the Lord and with our Lolo Harry,” Ocampo stated while showing a photo of Gasser.
“Thank you for being the funny and caring Lola. You will be missed. I’m sorry hindi ako naka abot magbigay ulit ng pang granola and milk mo like the last time,” she also said in her post.
The remains of the actress were taken to St. Peter’s Chapel in Commonwealth, Quezon City and the viewing started last Sunday and ended earlier today, November 22.
As much as many are aware, she was married to Harry Gasser, a late newscaster who died in 2014 due to a stroke. Flora was born in 1932 and started her show business career in 1979.
For over four decades of being an actress, she has appeared in more than 100 movies and television series. We often see her playing “yaya” and “kasambahay” roles.
As an actress, she appeared in films like “Annie Batungbakal,” “Batang Z” and “Kumander Bawang”. She was also included in the original “Pangako Sa ‘Yo”. The last project she did was the short film “Nene” in 2020.
