The suspect is being held in the Valenzuela City Police detention cell. According to the Station Inquiry Unit’s (SIU) investigation, the suspect’s employer and another employee of the business, Jovelyn Bacalla, filed a complaint against him after learning of the robbery that the suspect and his accomplice had perpetrated.

According to the police investigation, Bacalla found 180 branded 3060 series computer graphic cards missing from the corporate warehouse, valued at P6,777,000. The fact that they asked Babao to account for the missing graphic cards but failed to do so was disclosed by Bacalla.

She continued by saying that they were taken aback when they learned that he submitted a letter of resignation on November 14. She consequently carried out an inventory in the warehouse right away.

Bacalla confirmed the missing things, so she went to speak with the warehouse security guard right away. She discovered that the suspect had gone to the warehouse and informed the security guard that the goods were being pulled out, based on the report.

Following the receipt of the complaint against the suspect, the members of the Station Investigation Unit (SIU) under the direction of PLT Armando Delima and PLT Ronald Bautista of the Detective Management Unit (DMU) immediately undertook a follow-up operation. The culprit was quickly taken into custody when the police arrived at his home.

The accomplice of the suspect was found to be Rustom Maata Jr., also known as “Baby Ama,” and Jomar Gabun, according to the police. The stolen goods that were stashed away in the suspect’s home were reportedly quickly returned by the suspect’s relatives. Police follow-up efforts are ongoing to apprehend Babao’s two hastily evaded companions.
