Fans Await The Crown Netflix Season 5
THE CROWN NETFLIX – Netflix added another season to the popular series, The Crown, which featured the life of British Royalties.
One of the most popular series in the Netflix, a video streaming app, featured the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the British Royal Family. The Crown initially had four (4) seasons with 10 episodes each. It hooked a lot of people across the globe.
Undeniably, the recent death of the British Monarch who served for 70 years hooked more viewers to the said Netflix series. She died last September 8, 2022 at her summer home, the Balmoral Castle, in Scotland. She was 96 years old when she passed away.
The late Queen Elizabeth II has served the longest reign as British Monarch. She died a year after her late husband, Prince Philip, passed away. She is succeeded by their eldest son, now King Charles III.
The Crown Netflix series showed the events since the young then Princess Elizabeth became Queen after her father suddenly passed away due to a disease. She was already married to Prince Philip then and he had to leave his career and be by her side as she fulfills her duties.
There were events that detailed the rift between Queen Elizabeth II and her sister, Princess Margaret, as the latter is portrayed as the total opposite of the Queen. It also showed a story about the past of Prince Philip who, in one episode, was blamed by his father over the death of his favorite sister. She died in a plane crash with her family. Based on a report on GMA News, the series gained different reactions from the viewers – both admirations and criticisms.
Recently, Netflix announced that it will release another season to The Crown. It is set to be released on November 9, 2022.
