Urn Found Outside Batangas City Grand Terminal, Netizen Seeks Owner’s Family

An urn containing ashes was found by a netizen outside the Grand Terminal in Batangas City, who then called on the relatives of the owner to claim it.

Recently, Jhayrous Ong, a Facebook user, shared photos of the urn he discovered at the Batangas City Grand Terminal. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.

Netizens expressed surprise and concern over how such an important and personal item could have been left behind in a public place.

Urn

According to Ong, the urn has a name written on it, identified as Encarnacion Q. Santiano. Wanting to make sure it would return to the rightful family, he called on the public to help share his post so that the relatives could be informed.

Ong explained that the urn could be claimed where it was safely kept after being found.

Many online users reacted with sympathy, saying that losing something so meaningful must be very painful for the family. Some guessed that it might have been accidentally left behind during travel, especially since the terminal is often crowded with passengers coming and going.
