Class Suspensions Declared in These Areas for Thursday (October 13, 2022)
WALANG PASOK – Some local government units have declared class suspensions in several areas due to Tropical Depression Maymay.
Tropical Depression Maymay continue to lash the country with strong winds and moderate to heavy rains. The inclement weather condition causes damage to some properties and took the lives of several citizens.
Maymay has already weakened into a low-pressure area although the threat of heavy rains remains. It has been last spotted over the coastal waters of Casiguran, Aurora with a speed of 15 kilometers per hour moving west-southwestward.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has lifted the all-hoisted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals.
On Thursday (October 13, 2022), various local government units declared the cancellation of classes in several areas due to the inclement weather condition brought on by the low pressure.
The class suspensions have been announced to ensure the safety of students and school employees from any form of threat due to the weather disturbance.

Here is the list of areas covered by the class cancellations:
Cagayan
- Allacapan – All levels (Public and private)
- Aparri – All levels (Public and private), including government offices
- Claveria – Elementary and High School
- Enrile – All levels (Public and private)
- Sanchez Mira – Pre-school, Elementary, and Secondary Schools
Nueva Ecija
- Talavera – All levels (Public and private)
