Malacañang Speaks on Scheduled Trips of Pres. Bongbong Marcos Abroad

MALACAÑANG – The Palace revealed details about the first foreign trips of President Bongbong Marcos this September.

The Philippine government recently embraced a transition. Last June 30, former Senator Bongbong Marcos who won the presidential elections 2022 took his oath as the 17th president of the Republic of the Philippines. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Philippine National museum.

The Marcos family and some closest friends in politics and other fields, the President’s Cabinet members, and several distinguished guests graced the event. It was also the time when he returned to Malacañang which was his home for more than a decade when his late father was the country’s president.

However, a few days after he assumed office, Marcos Jr. tested positive for COVID-19. He was in isolation for seven days. Meanwhile, he recovered fast and continued working remotely even when he was in isolation.
