ANDREW E – Veteran rapper Andrew E admitted that some people submitted his name for a government post.
Among the most active performers during the Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte campaign was Andrew E. He was bashed heavily because of his appearance and in a previous article, amid the rumors of the hefty amount he got in exchange for his performance, he revealed that what he got from PBBM was actually an embrace.
And just recently, he admitted that there were several people who submitted his name for a government position under the recent administration.
With this possibility, is he willing to accept the responsibility of being a public servant?
The 55-year-old rapper expressed that what he actually wanted is to serve his Dongalo Wreckords. And now, feeling a bit on a higher leverage as an artist and an actor, he sees that this is the perfect popportunity to help them.
He said, “Siguro it’s about time again, you know, na makatulong naman ako nang kaunti pa sa mga rapper ko na medyo nagtatandaan sila. And yet, gusto ko pa ring dagdagan ang achievements nila.”
The rapper feels like there are a lot of other people out there who are much more capable than him and more qualified to serve the public. He would like to give this opportunity to them, he will give way to those who are more dedicated in doing public service.
“Ako naman, magpapaka-busy na muna ako na tumulong sa tao and at the same time, palawigin din yung career ko na para lalong makatulong again lalo sa marami,” he added according to a report from PEP.
Meanwhile, Andrew will be having Bagong Pilipinas: Tagalog Rap Festival – a concert tour along with Salbakuta and Kruzzada.
