Video of Female Thieves Stealing Grocery Items in Kalinga Elicits Reactions Online
A female thief has been caught on camera stealing grocery items from a convenience store in Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
The Facebook page H.Vilora Convenience Store has shared the video footage of several female thieves stealing grocery items from a convenience store. The video goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The CCTV footage captured the woman in a white shirt who pretended a customer roaming around the convenience store. After a few moments, she picked up a pack of milk from the shelves and put it inside the black jacket of her colleague.
The culprit picked up several items from the store and placed them inside her colleague’s jacket. The suspects immediately leave the establishment after stealing goods. The incident happened last July 13, 2022.
“Naka-lunch break po ‘yung ibang staff that time. ‘Yung ibang staff naman namin ay busy sa counter kasi may mga costumers sila,” the store owner said.
The thieves reportedly stole grocery items worth P18, 000. The suspects have another colleague outside who served as a lookout. The CCTV footage also captured the white van they used.
The store owner immediately reported the incident to the police authorities. The cops will continue to investigate the incident to locate and identify the suspects. The culprits allegedly victimized several stores in Nueva Vizcaya and Baguio City.
