Imee Marcos wore a stunning gown for PBBM’s inauguration
Senator Imee Marcos showcased the gifts that she received from her father the late President Ferdinand Marcos on the gown that she wore for the inauguration of her brother President Bongbong Marcos.
On June 30, PBBM has officially started his presidency. The inauguration was held at the National Museum. He is the fourth President of the Philippines who chose the said historical place as the inauguration venue.
It appeared that Sen. Imee also has a little museum on her own when she attended the event. Maid In Malacanang director/writer Darryl Yap said in his Facebook Post that the Senator has a museum in her sleeves.
“A Muse with a Museum in her sleeves standing-out while sitting in the National Museum. Poetic and Sentimental,” Direk Darryl wrote. In his post, it was also revealed that it was Senator Imee Marcos who designed the said gown.
“This sustainable opulent Filipiniana gown made by Rem Divino has restored lockets, chains and pendants as embellishments, these were all gifts from her father— former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.,” the post stated.
Actress Beverly Salviejo, who is also part of the movie about the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in Malacanang commented on this. “Gorgeous,” Beverly said.
Meanwhile, Sen. Imee played a major role on PBBM’s campaign during the election season, especially on the social media aspect. She was one of the main cast members in Direk Darryl’s satire videos that featured a puppet named Len-len.
The videos that Darryl Yap and Sen. Imee Marcos created went controversial as polarizing comments were posted on social media. However, that did not hinder the videos to gather big number of views on different social media platforms.
