The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official results of the June 2014 Social Workers Boar Examination in a total of two (2) working days after the last day of exam. The PRC announced that a total of 1,110 out of 2,031 passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination.
According to the PRC only a total of 3 schools made it to the elite list of Top Performing Schools in the recently concluded Social Workers Board Exam. The Top Performing schools comprised of schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80% of passing percentage.
Bicol University-Daraga ranked no. 1 in the Top Performing Schools with a total of 65 passers out of 68 examinees with a total percentage of 95.59%. Saint Louis University ranked second with 92.73% and ranking third is Mindanao State University, the school that produced a total of 109 passers out of 119 examinees.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Social Workers in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Zamboanga.
The Board of Social Workers were composed of Lorna C. Gabad, Chairman; Jesus S. Far and Mary Ofelia L. Endaya, Members.
The PRC also announced that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on July 8 and 9, 2014. Those who will register are required to bring their duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula) and other requirements.
