Vice Pres. Leni Robredo Reacts to Questions over the Election’s Partial, Unofficial Results
LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President issued a statement amid the questions of her supporters regarding the partial and unofficial results of the May 2022 Elections.
The Filipinos have voted for the local and national Elections 2022. Millions of people were out on May 9, 2022 to cast their votes. It was declared a holiday in the country to give the people time to participate in the election by practicing their right to vote.
The May 2022 Elections is an automated election that used the Smartmatic machines. Under the national elections, there were elections for the next president, vice president, and senators of the country. Ten 10 candidates are running for president this election.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is one of the candidates who are running for president in the May 2022 Elections. She is the only female bet and is running as an independent candidate.
Shortly after most of the voting precincts have closed, the partial and unofficial results of the election were posted. Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos is leading the presidential race based on the said results and Vice Pres. Robredo is tailing behind but with a very huge gap.
The partial and unofficial results gained different reactions from the people on social media most especially the supporters of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo. Recently, the Vice President released another statement.
Vice Pres. Robredo once again expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her and campaigned for her. According to her, she is aware of the questions regarding the election and her camp is already talking to the experts to study the reports and allegations and will give an update as soon as there are results.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo expressed that she will be attending a mass in Naga City at 5:00 p.m. today and there will be a gathering in Manila on May 13 to thank the volunteers. The Vice President ended her message saying that peace and clarity of the future for everyone are her prayers.
