Robin Padilla Ranks 1st in Partial, Unofficial Results of Election for Senator

ROBIN PADILLA – The actor broke his silence on his lead on the partial and unofficial results of the May 2022 Senatorial Race.

The voting for the May 2022 Elections is over and, currently, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is in the process of transmitting and counting the votes. A few minutes after most of the voting precincts closed, partial and unofficial results were released and posted for public information.

Both local and national elections were held yesterday, May 9, 2022. Under the latter, elections for the country’s next president, vice president, and senators were held. Sixty-four candidates are vying for a seat in the Senate as confirmed by the poll body but one of them withdrew his bid prior to the election.

One of the first-time senatorial aspirants this May 2022 Elections is actor Robin Padilla. He is one of the senatorial candidates endorsed by the UniTeam.

In the partial and unofficial results for the May 2022 Elections, Robin Padilla is taking the lead. He is followed by former Senator Loren Legarda and veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo, respectively.

In an interview with GMA News, Robin Padilla was asked about his reaction to his lead in the May 2022 Senatorial Elections. The actor expressed his gratitude to everyone who voted for him and for all the Filipinos for the “success” of the poll.

The actor stressed that it comes with responsibility. According to him, he knows that his success is not because of him but because of his push for charter change. Based on the report, when asked if he expected to lead the senatorial race, the actor expressed that he did not expect anything. According to him, he does not have the machinery and the money.

“Ang akin lamang po ay paninindigan, pananalig sa Panginoong Diyos, at tulong-tulong lang po ng mga naniniwala sa akin,” Binoe said.
