Bongbong Marcos, Sara Duterte Hold Campaign Rally in Ilocos Norte

Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Meet Supporters in Ilocos Norte

BONGBONG MARCOS – The former Senator and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte held a campaign rally in Ilocos Norte.

The campaign period has officially started in the Philippines. The May 2022 Elections include both national and local polls. Surveys about the people’s presidential, vice presidential, and senatorial bets are happening left and right.

One of the presidential candidates in the upcoming election is former Sen. Bongbong Marcos. He is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and he is running alongside presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the vice-presidential candidate of Lakas-CMD.

The BBM-Sara tandem is backed by several national parties. Their tandem is tagged as the “UniTeam” as the presidential candidate pushes for unity in the country.

Most of the presidential candidates held their proclamation rallies at their bailiwick except for Marcos Jr. The proclamation rally of the UniTeam was held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Meanwhile, recently, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, former Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte held a campaign rally in Ilocos Norte where they greet a lot of BBM-Sara supporters. It is the bailiwick of the PFP standard-bearer.

Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio enjoy the lead in presidential and vice-presidential surveys. The consolidated petitions seeking to disqualify the PFP standard-bearer due to his tax evasion conviction from the presidential race were recently junked by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Undeniably, the presidential bid of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos is one of the most controversial candidacies in the history of the Philippines. It sparked a lot of issues surrounding the regime of his late father including the alleged ill-gotten wealth of their family. Despite the issues, he leads the presidential race with a huge gap in survey results.
