Louise delos Reyes On Being Alden Richards Past Love Team Partner

Before AlDub, there was DenLou, the tandem of Louise delos Reyes and Alden Richards

Actress Louise delos Reyes recalled the times she worked with actor Alden Richards as his love team partner and their tandem was known as DenLou.

This was prior to the iconic love team partnership of Alden with Maine Mendoza in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye. Louise and Alden worked together in several Kapuso series such as Alakdana (2011), My Beloved (2012), One True Love (2012), and Mundo Mo’y Akin (2013).

In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Louise delos Reyes that behind the “kilig” vibes that they were showing onscreen, she and Alden Richards had so many “away-bati” moments.

“Actually, maraming times diyan na magkaaway kami ni Alden.Kasi iyong turingan namin ni Alden, he knows me too well, I know him too well,” she said. One will easily know if the other one does not want to talk.

Louise recalled the boat scene that they did in One True Love. At that time, they were not talking to each other before the shoot. “Hindi ko matandaan kung ano iyong pinag-awayan namin, pero hindi kami nag-uusap ‘tapos kailangan naming sumakay ng boat. So iyong boat, siyempre kaming dalawa lang iyong nandoon, so napilitan kaming mag-usap. ‘Tapos naging okay na kami after noon,” the actress shared.

This scenario behind the camera happened a lot of times when they were doing the said Kapuso series. Eventually, they became close friends, and the friendship that they have would help them in doing difficult scenes.

Louise delos Reyes said that the “tampuhan” that she and Alden Richards had was due to the fact that they were so young back then.“Mga petty na hindi bababa ng sasakyan pero gets namin iyong isa’t isa,” the actress shared.
