Alden Richards ventured into another realm of production
Kapuso multimedia star Alden Richards added a feather to his cap in his new documentary concert ForwARd as he took the task of being the producer.
Alden is known to be an actor, a performer, a host in showbiz but this time, he also became a producer. His docu-concert aims to show the side of himself behind the camera, the Richard Faulkerson Jr.
This online event also aims to showcase the AR Foundation, his charitable endeavor that supports the financial needs of students. Based on the article in Inquirer, in this project, Alden Richards doubled his effort.
“I’m giving double the effort since all of the ticket sales will go to the charity, so we can have more scholars,” the Kapuso star said. He shared that being a producer is a whole different experience for him.
He did not just think of his performance but all the aspects involved in the docu-concert. Alden had to pay attention to the technical stuff, venue, and finances. Despite the multi-tasking that he did for this project, the actor said, “being a producer was a liberating experience.”
For Alden, having support from good people around him made the task easier. “These people want to see me fly and I feel so blessed to have them in my circle. This is a collective victory for us,” he shared.
One of the reasons why Alden Richards focused his charity works on students was because when he was younger he took his studies for granted. Aside from the scholarship programs, the Kapuso star wants to do more for their beneficiaries. “There will be more projects in the future,” he said.
