Is Piolo Pascual opening his door to AMBS?
Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual was asked about the possibility of working with Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. of billionaire businessman Manny Villar.
The media company of the former Senator was able to obtain Channel 2, the frequency previously occupied by ABS-CBN. Following this, it was rumored that veteran TV host Willie Revillame will hold and executive position in Villar’s TV network.
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga is also being rumored to be part of the media company. It was alleged that she could be the “Charo Santos” of AMBS. This rumor sprouted from the photo of Toni with senatorial aspirant Mark Villar, the son of Manny Villar.
Based on the article from Balita.net.ph, Piolo Pascual said that he is open to the possibility of working with AMBS. “Kung hindi siya conflict sa shows ko sa ABS-CBN, I don’t think it’s gonna matter. As long as the concept is good,” the hunk actor said.
Despite this openness that he has when it comes to receiving projects from other networks, Piolo said that he is concentrating now on what he has with the Kapamilya network. “There’s so many shows that I’m working on. I don’t think I have the time for that in the near future,” he shared.
Piolo renewed his contract with ABS-CBN last year and during the contract signing, it was revealed that he will be the first leading man of Lovi Poe, who came GMA, as a new Kapamilya, They are doing a Pinoy version of the K-drama series Flower of Evil.
Aside from this series, Piolo Pascual is also doing a sitcom titled My Papa Pi with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. The actor consider this project as a “nice breather”. He is commending the cast and the director who are fun to work with.
