John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo were named as Box Office King and Queen for 2014 of the recently concluded deliberation and selection of winners for the 45th Box Office Entertainment Awards of Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF).
The selection and deliberation of winners was held at the Basement Function Room of Barrio Fiesta, in Edsa Greenhils on Friday April 25, 2014 which last for more than four hours.
The winners came from the Top 10 movies for 2013, top-rating shows on television, top recording awards received by singers and performers and top gross receipts for concerts and performances.
The 2014 Box Office Entertainment Awards also gave recognition for the top-grossing films on the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival. The Phenomenal Awards were given to “My Little Bossings” and “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy.”
Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda, the main stars of the two comedy flicks were hailed as Phenomenal Stars while Ryzza Mae Dizon and Bimby Aquino-Yap were hailed as Phenomenal Child Stars for My Little Bossings.
Aside from the Box Office Queen Title, the Popstar Princess has coveted two awards including Female Concert Performer of the Year and Female Recording Artist of the Year.
The Box Office Entertainment Awards 2014 awarding ceremony will be held at Solaire Resorts & Casino on May 18, 2014.
