After catching coronavirus, Pia Wurtzbach finally recovers.
PIA WURTZBACH – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach reveals she had caught the coronavirus in the United Kingdom and recovered from it.
A couple of years since the coronavirus took over the world, many remain suffering. The virus just continues to mutate and several variants have been born. And the latest variant that is highly transmissible compared to others is the Omicron. The number of Omicron cases in the country continues to rise and regardless of whether a person is vaccinated or not, once he gets exposed to it, he will be infected.
And a similar case happened to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. While staying in the United Kingdom with her family, she caught the virus. Despite her efforts to take her vitamins, be physically active, and get herself the right vaccines to protect her, she still got it.
Accordingly, she suffered symptoms such as fever, sore throat, body pain, runny rose, cough, and losing both her sense of taste and smell. In her post, she shared that the severity of the symptoms she suffered is worse than the normal sickness she had before.
She wrote, “It’s not like a regular cold or flu that goes away after a few days. I’ve never been sick for this long, which lasted more than a week.”
She and her sister Sarah Wurtzback have caught the virus and they are close to completing their isolation. She added, “The worst is through. I am recovering well. I am beyond grateful my parents are safe. Di sila nahawa sakin.”
In her post, she reminded people to do what the authorities are telling the public because she had a firsthand experience of how real COVID-19 is. She also called out those people who break rules and health protocols for their own advantage to have personal accountability because she believed they are not just putting themselves at risk but also the people around them.
