World-renowned Filipino designers are now excited to showcase their masterpieces in the upcoming 86th Academy Awards or the highly anticipated Oscars Awards presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) which will be held this coming March 2, 2014 (US Time).

Filipino designers are currently busy in finalizing their handcrafted work which will be showcase in the red carpet show of the Oscars. Pinoy designers are already well-known throughout the United States during the momentous event.
One of the Pinoy designer, Alexis Monsanto admitted that he is busy preparing to dress the attendees for the Oscars aside from doing his research for his role as a fashion commentator on KTLA morning show’s Academy Awards Special Report.
According to some Filipino designers they are expecting a lot of neutral colors and daring necklines on the Oscars 2014 red carpet. Some of the well-known designers who are expected to showcase their masterpiece are Oliver Tolentino, Monique Lhuillier, Rajo Laurel and Michael Cinco.
The Oscars Awards 2014 will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The ceremony was scheduled one week later than usual to avoid broadcast schedule with the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Last 2013 there are over 40 million viewers in America watch the Oscars. The show was also beamed to more than 200 countries worldwide.
