Creations of Cebuana fashion designer Monique Lhuillier was worn by one of the most elegant actress that walked through the red carpet during the awarding ceremony of the Oscars 2011.  Mandy Moore was simply fabulous with the stunning dress that was created by a Filipina fashion designer.

Monique Lhuillier is one of Hollywood’s most after-sought fashion designer having designed the gown worn by Britney Spears during her infamous wedding with Kevin Federline. Monique also designed gowns worn by Kirsten Stewart and Kelly Clarkson.

One of the dress worn by Hillary Duff in “The Cinderella Story” is her creation also. A wedding gown for Carrie Underwood’s wedding was made also by the Filipina fashion designer who have came from prominent Cebuano families that owned major pawnshops in the Philippines.

Monique Lhuillier’s artistic ability were at par with famous and respected names in the fashion industry. Her creations was worn also by other artists who had attended the recently concluded Academy Awards 2011 held at the Kodak Theater.

Other celebrities who worn Monique Lhuillier creations were Odette Yustman, the socialite girl in the 2007 Transformers.  Anna Paquin, the mutant superheroine Rogue in the X-Men franchise movie have also worn the Monique Lhuillier gown during the Vanity Fair celebration party.
