The identity of the 17-year-old woman has not been revealed by authorities. She is still being treated for severe burns at the Jesus M. Colmenares Memorial District Hospital in Balasan, the same province, according to authorities.
On October 31, the girl allegedly took part in a Halloween celebration hosted by the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines in the town square. The girl’s friends were adorning the back of her outfit before to the tragedy.
However, when someone lit a match, the used glue stick instantly flared up. Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-Estancia station) arrived quickly and extinguished the fire.
Teacher Ryan Ociel captured the incident on camera and posted it to his Facebook page. Many people are persuading him to delete his social media post, he claims.
In this regard, Ociel questioned the wisdom of such a youth organization engaging in such activities in the midst of the 2019 coronavirus epidemic. This isn’t supposed to happen. She needs justice, Ociel said, referring to the young lady.
