NBI Issues Subpoena For Annabelle Rama After Manny Pacquiao Former Aide Jayke Joson Filed a Cyber Libel Complaint Against Her
MANNY PACQUIAO – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has sent a subpoena for talent manager Annabelle Rama after Pacman’s former aide Jayke Joson filed a cyber libel complaint against her.
Former actor and film producer Jayke Joson was the long-time special assistant of boxing legend and presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao. Last October 22, talent manager Annabelle Rama slammed Pacman’s “dakilang alalay” on social media after his past interviews against Pacquaio.
Eddie Gutierrez’s wife accused him of stealing P140 million from the senator. She said Joson was allegedly kicked from the boxer’s team because of his dishonest practices. She also believed that a political rival party paid Joson to make false accusations against Pacquiao.
Jayke Joson responded to Annabelle Rama’s rant. He denied all the claims of the talent manager. He also said that, unlike her, he is not facing an estafa case now.
On Tuesday, the 47-year-old film producer filed a cyber libel and cyberbullying complaint against Rama. He said that the case is his birthday gift to Rama.

As seen in the letter, Rama is being summoned by the Special Project Team, Office of the Assistant Director for Regional Operations Service on November 3 regarding Joson’s complaint. Baua said the subpoena was received through a village security guard.
“The NBI Special Projects Team says they will remain impartial in the investigation. NBI Regional Director Atty. Emeterio Dongallo says they will issue a subpoena for Annabelle Rama and give her an opportunity to explain her side.”
