MAGGIE WILSON – TV host and former beauty queen Maggie Wilson announces separation from husband Victor Consunji after 11 years of being married.

Marriage is a strong tie that binds two people to stay together but does it really guarantee for the couple to be together until the end? To some, it does for sure, but to some, it doesn’t. Knowing a person doesn’t end even if you have been with someone for a long time. Changes are constant and there are different phases in a person’s life wherein in each phase, they become different from who they used to be before.

They have choices whether to end or embrace the changes and in most cases, people tend to choose to end it. And as for former beauty queen Maggie Wilson and Victor Consunji, they have decided to end their marriage but in a peaceful manner and maintaining their friendship. Victor and Maggie have been married to each other for 11 years already and they share a son named Connor.

In an Instagram post, wanting for this detail to be out straight from her, Maggie released an official statement announcing the end of their marriage. It was a difficult decision for them to separate and challenging at the very least but she assured their followers that there’s no animosity in between them.

She then added in her statement, “We will always love and support each other no matter what. We will always be family as we share our beautiful son, Connor, together. We have remained really good friends and partners and will continue to do so. Both of us want nothing more than for each other to be happy.”

They wed in 2010. Maggie started her showbiz career in GMA before she became an MTV Asia VJ. She joined the Binibining Pilipinas pageant and won a title. She represented the country in the Miss World competition. Meanwhile, her husband is the grandson of DMCI founder and former Cabinet official David M. Consunji and the owner of the construction company Victor Consunji Incorporated.
