KTV Bar in Quiapo Raided; 8 Arrested and 5 Women Trafficking Victims Rescued
Manila Police District (MPD) raided a KTV bar in Quiapo for allegedly operating amid MECQ and trafficking women for obscene show.
After receiving information that a KTV bar in Quiapo was operating against Metro Manila’s modified enhanced community quarantine, MPD Station 3 seized the establishment (MECQ). Inside the bar, five ladies were spotted dancing and reportedly selling entertainment.
Six clients were discovered without face masks while drinking alcoholic beverages. The bar manager was unable to produce any paperwork when the business permit was searched.
According to the research, the bar employs people not just from Manila, but also from Quezon City and Caloocan City. A human trafficking case is being drafted against the bar manager and another of his coworkers, while today MECQ was filed against six customers for violating IATF standards.

Meanwhile, officers from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) searched the Utopia Health Spa in Quezon City, purportedly for prostitution. It is also suspected of running a modified enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila in secret.
The drinkers were captured in the act when NBI agents entered the spa. Inside the rooms, there are still registered customers. When attempting to run, some of them left their shoes and slippers behind.
One of the customers went to the top of the building and was pursued by operations. He was apprehended by the NBI after a few minutes of running and searching. Officials from the spa were not contacted by the authorities.
The spa employees who were arrested denied giving the extra service. Netizens are grumbling about the establishment, according to the NBI. According to reports, the fee is at least P3,600 per woman. Clients will not be able to enter without making a reservation, he added.
