Viral Lady Customer in Unpaid Food Package Video Files Complaint Against Food Seller
MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – A lady customer in the viral unpaid food package video filed a complaint against the food seller.
Previously, the food seller Marjorie A. Alison becomes one of the most controversial topics online after criticizing a lady customer named Maria Amy Hofilña for refusing to pay her remaining balance.
Marjorie Abastas is demanding an unpaid amount of P10, 200 from her female client who ordered a lechon package containing a roasted pig, eight side dishes, and two trays of fruits, which cost a total of P19, 200.
The lady customer refused to pay her unpaid balance because only few visitors have attended her party. Hofilña and her friends complained that they were dissatisfied with the viands.
The incident led Hofilña to file charges at the Mabolo Police Station against Abastas the next day for allegedly causing alarm and scandal inside the vicinity of her property.
The customer also sought the help of the Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU-7) after Marjorie posted the video online without her permission, which allegedly causes a lot of damage.
“What she did caused a lot of damage. If I would rather not pay because we had to agree on a possible settlement, why did she post the live video without hesitation and [my] permission. That was indeed malicious. That was a malicious action. It only showed that was part of her plan because the video started while she was walking on the road and while going up to my property,” Hofilña said.
