Here’s what Lorin Gutierrez said when she was asked about joining pageants
New Viva artist Lorin Gutierrez was asked if she also wants to join pageants like her mom Ruffa Gutierrez and here’s what she said about this.
Ruffa was crowned Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and she was hailed as Miss World Second Princess in the same year. With her pageant stint, it is inevitable that her daughter Lorin would be asked if she also has plans to enter the world of pageantry.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, during a recent media conference for Lorin Gutierrez‘s launching as one of the newest artists of Viva, she received this question.
“I don’t know what will happen to me. As of now, I don’t really have plans of joining a beauty contest and I haven’t thought much about it. But honestly in the future, my mind can change in a year. My mind can change in three years, we’ll never really know,” the eldest daughter of Ruffa answered.
She added that it will still depend on what her future will unveil for her but she is not totally closing her doors when it comes to beauty pageants.
Lorin also shared that although she is still studying, she can make time to do her passion – acting. “I think I’ve kind of decided after reflecting with myself that I also want to pursue my passion which is acting, while doing my studies at the same time. As long as I’m disciplined, as long as I make the time, as long as I work hard, I can balance everything,” the young celebrity explained.
She also said that acting has been her passion. While studying, she was able to take part in plays and attend drama classes. Lorin Gutierrez shared that acting has been an enjoyable endeavor for her.
