Hanging Bridge in Zamboanga Del Sur Suddenly Collapsed After Dipili River Overflows due to Tropical Depression Crising
The Tropical Depression Crising causes flash floods and landslides in Zamboanga Del Sur due to the inclement weather condition.
On Saturday (May 15, 2021), a hanging bridge in the municipality of Bayog in Zamboanga Peninsula suddenly collapsed due to the raging waters of the Dipili River caused by Tropical Depression Crising.
Crising also causes flash floods at Barangay Saloagan in the municipality of Dimataling. Nine houses have been submerged in floodwaters and six houses were severely damaged by a landslide.
The weather disturbance also causes landslide and flooding in the municipality of Lapuyan. Lakewood also experienced landslide and causes road obstruction after eroded soil covered the street. The government personnel immediately cleared the road.
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in the municipality of President Roxas in Cotabato province have rescued the victims in flood-affected areas. Luckily, no one has been injured in flash flood and landslide incidents.

Crising causes devastation over some parts of the country before it has weakened into a low-pressure area and eventually disappeared.
