Phoemela Baranda Official Statement for Anne Curtis

TV host and actress Phoemela Baranda finally break her silence in regard with the slapping and point finger incident of Drunk Anne Curtis in one of the Luxury Prive Club at Fort Taguig last November 23.

After the publication of the report circulated online, Curtis was stormed with different opinions by netizens.

According to Baranda’s statement in an interview she said, “No, she didn’t say, ‘I can buy you, your friends, and this club.’ Hindi niya sa akin sinabi ‘yon. Walang gano’n na nangyari o sinabi si Anne. Hindi niya rin ako dinuro.”

Meanwhile, Baranda’s answer opposed to JR Isaac as he narrated at Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.ph) the incident happened at the club that Curtis point her finger to Baranda as she said “I can buy you, your friends and this club.”

Baranda Official Statement during the interview:

“No, she didn’t say, ‘I can buy you, your friends, and this club.’ Hindi niya sa akin sinabi ‘yon. Walang gano’n na nangyari o sinabi si Anne. Hindi niya rin ako dinuro. She wasn’t angry at me, she didn’t call me names. Walang gano’ng pangyayari. She said something to me, but [it was] because galit na siya sa ibang individuals doon. And naintindihan ko na sometimes ‘pag galit ka na, you know, kahit kaigiban mo na ‘yung kaharap mo, nasasabi mo ‘yung galit mo doon sa kaibigan. And I totally understand that. Wala kaming away ni Anne. Hindi kami ‘yung magkaaway that time. Walang galit si Anne sa akin that time. I’m not in the position to make kwento or say kung ano ang nangyari doon sa may banyo because I was in the other side of the VIP area. Kung ano man ang nangyari, I can only say kung ano ang nangyari sa amin ni Anne. Siguro ‘yung mga kaibigan ko na nasabihan ko na Anne said something to me, ‘yung nasabihan ko, sinabi sa iba. Lahat na ng tao may iba’t-ibang bersyon na napakalayo na sa sinabi ni Anne. Lahat na ng tao may kanya-kanya nang version ng napakaliit na sinabi ni Anne. Sobrang wala na. And a few hours after, Anne apologized. I’ve moved on, and I hope the people move on na rin.”

As Baranda end her statement she said, she wants everyone to move on in this controversy.
