Gerald Anderson talked about his life behind the camera
Init Sa Magdamag actor Gerald Anderson stressed that he knows his mistakes when it comes to his personal and that not all people see this.
Gerald faced a big controversy when he was accused of ghosting by his former girlfriend actress Bea Alonzo back in 2019. Aside from that, rumors surfaced that he cheated with his Between Maybes leading lady Julia Barretto, which they strongly denied but this year they finally admitted their relationship.
It is known in showbiz that the actor received a massive amount of bashing, as well as Julia as they were grilled online because of this issue.
After almost two years, Gerald Anderson has finally spoken directly against Bea Alonzo’s claim. For him, their relationship was toxic and so if what he did will fall in the category of ghosting, then so be it.
The issue between the three celebrities created a loud buzz again because of that. However, that did not stop there as Bea also had her all-out interview regarding this and even stressed that Gerald gaslighted her. The actress also said that her ex-boyfriend never admitted his mistakes.
In a recent article by King of Talk Boy Abunda in Pilipino Star Ngayon, he shared a statement of Gerald Anderson regarding people’s misconception about his personal life.
He stressed that he knows his mistakes and the lessons he learned from them which other people don’t know because he does not show this side of him.
“Alam ko naman kung saan ako nagkamali. Ang dating sa ibang tao, wala lang sa akin. Kumbaga, nakikita lang naman ako kapag may interviews or kapag may lumabas na soap,” the actor said.
Gerald also stressed that the public does not how he absorb the bashings and mean words being thrown at him when he is at home. “‘Yung bashers, ‘yung trolls, parang tinatrato tayong hindi tayo tao, walang emotions, walang pinagdadaanan din. It’s very hard to explain that sa mga tao,” he said.
The actor added, “Alam ko kung saan ako nagkamali, alam ko kung ano ‘yung dapat kong matutunan. Sa akin na po ‘yun.”
