Ellen Adarna shared details of her relationship with Derek Ramsay
Actress Ellen Adarna shared that she has no plans of getting married before her now-fiance actor Derek Ramsay came into her life.
Derek and Ellen stirred the online community from the time when their cozy photos taken during a dinner party surfaced on social media. From that, more photos of them together were posted on their Instagram accounts.
Later on, the actor revealed in an interview in February that he and Ellen are officially a couple for a month already. Before the end of March, the engagement proposal happened.
In a recent interview with Metro, Ellen shared that marriage was not in her to-do list in her life. She never expected that she would walk down the aisle one day and exchange “I Dos” with the man who she will call her husband.
“I’m the type who really had no plans of getting married. Like marriage is not for me. I don’t want to get married. I remember telling one ex before, if you ever mention the marriage word—wag na lang kasi maghihiwalay tayo,” Ellen Adarna recalled her past thoughts.
The actress shared that she was overwhelmed when the sign “Will you marry me?” was revealed behind the balloons. “In my head, I knew I was going to marry him. Until I heard someone say—what’s your answer? If I didn’t hear what’s your answer, I would have just give him my hand, for him to understand na ‘yes. It’s a yes,” Ellen said.
Before Derek Ramsay knelt down with the ring in his hands, the actress had to do a series of games and so she has no idea that the proposal will happen. She thought that it was a birthday surprise for her.
In a game, before she gave her answer to a trivia question, the balloons were already released that actual question that she had to answer was Derek’s proposal.
Actually, Ellen revealed that even before that much-talked-about event, she and Derek have already tackled the topic of settling down together. “He told me he was going to marry me three times before he proposed,” t he actress revealed.
