Chinese Woman Orders iPhone 12 for $1,500 But Received Apple Drink Instead of Mobile Phone
A female customer ordered an iPhone 12 Pro Max at Apple Store for $1,500 but received a box of apple drink.
Nowadays, most people love to purchase products from online shopping platforms for a more comfortable transaction. However, there are some instances that customers are falling into the hands of scammers.
A Chinese woman identified as ‘Liu’ from Anhui Province of East China order a 256gb iPhone 12 Pro Max from the official website of Apple. She paid 10,099 yuan or $1,562 for the item thinking that it was a legit transaction.
After making an order, she is excited to receive her new phone but got shocked after discovering that the parcel contains a carton of apple drink. She immediately reported the incident at the police station.
“The courier said he put the package in a parcel locker in my residential community, and I didn’t complain,” Liu said.

The police authorities said that the culprit might came from Apple Store or someone who delivered the item to Liu’s residence. Apple and the courier claimed that the package has been delivered.
