Shredded Paper Bills Found at a Vacant Lot in Roxas City
Capiz residents got surprised after they have found a few sacks of shredded paper bills at a vacant lot in Roxas City.
The Facebook page “Metro Headlines” has shared the photos of shredded Philippine paper bills at a vacant lot in Brgy. Cagay, Roxas City. The post goes viral online and elicits comments from the social media users.
The Roxas City residents got shocked after they have found several sacks of shredded paper money. The residents immediately reported the incident to the authorities for proper disposal of the money.
The sacks of shredded bills are supposed to be delivered by a dump truck at a dumping site in San Jose for proper disposal. The truck suffered from flat tire and the personnel discharged the shredded money during the repair.
The authorities found out that the shredded bills are old banknotes from different denominations and need to be disposed. The officials also promised to gather and clean the garbage for proper disposal.
