Paper Bills w/ Politicians’ Names Earns Various Reactions Online
The photos of paper bills with politicians’ names attached on it garnered various reactions from the online community after it was posted on social media.
The political candidates are now busy on their campaign conducting different events and programs to earn the sympathy of Filipino voters.
Most candidates are distributing various types of campaign paraphernalia to win the upcoming 2019 midterm elections.
However, dirty campaign strategies such as vote buying are strictly prohibited wherein candidates could face disqualification and charges.
Recently, the Facebook page “Balitang Totoo Eastern Visayas” has shared photos of paper bills with politicians’ name on it.
The photos show P20, P40, and P50 paper bills with the names of several political candidates attached to the money.
However, there are still no confirmations or updates if it was another act of vote-buying. The incident was allegedly happened in Tacloban City.
