PAGASA – LPA At East Of Davao This February 8, 2021
PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 8, 2021 (Monday).
The 4 AM update from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was last spotted at about 580 km East of Davao City, while the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will be affecting Northern Luzon on this day.
Based on the bureau’s official website, the Trough of LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Bicol Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and Central Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the update, for the wind and coastal water condition forecast says that Northern and eastern section of the country will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
